India gained a significant 257-run lead by stumps on Day 3 of the Edgbaston Test against England in Birmingham on Sunday (July 3). After bowling out England for 284 in response to their first innings score of 416, India reached 125 for 3 at the end of the third day’s play. Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten on 50 off 139 balls while Rishabh Pant was batting on 30 off 46 balls. The duo had added exactly 50 runs when the day’s play ended on Sunday.
